
We are excited to share the final program for the PNW Arts + Tech Symposium, happening Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Cornish 9th Avenue Gallery. This one-day gathering brings together artists, technologists, educators, and community organizers to explore the creative intersections of art and technology.
Brought to you by Third Place Technologies and Future Arts, with support from Cornish College of the Arts and Artist Trust, the symposium is all about coming together as a community — to share projects, swap ideas, build connections, and inspire each other.

- Morning Welcome: Coffee & pastries with Shelly Farnham, artist, research scientist, and President of Third Place Technologies.
- Opening Panel: Relational, Responsive, and Longitudinal Practices in Arts + Technology
Chaired by Genevieve Tremblay, with panelists: Julia Pryde Thompson, Cam Smith, Diana Xie, Nicholas Bowen. - Networking Lunch: Birds-of-a-feather gatherings organized by Yuliya Bruk and Anna Czoski of Future Arts, with sandwiches by Crackle Mi Vietnamese Grill.
- Rapid Talks: What’s Cool in 2025 (chaired by Jacob Fennel)
Lightning talks from PNW leaders exploring AI, XR, robotics, pedagogy, and more, including: Iole Alessandrini, Bailey Ambrose, Jose Contreras, Jeff Davis, Reilly Donovan, Hexe Fey, Kevin Goodrich, Grant Hinkson, Justin Lincoln, Josh Lind, Derek Nunn, Cam Smith. - Town Hall: Building Community and Resources for the Future of Arts & Tech, co-chaired by John Boylan and Lydia Boss.
- Wrap-Up: Future-Forward Next Steps, hosted by Yuliya Bruk, with voices from Yolanda Barton (Revere XR) and Sadaf Sadri (SPAM New Media Festival).
- Evening Pop-Up Exhibition & Soirée: Curated by Joseph Gray and Jeff Brice, featuring 20+ artists including Reed O’Beirne, Cam Smith, Grant Hinkson, Diana Xie & Nicholas Bowen, Kate Bailey & Jeff Davis, Jason Challas, Monkey C Interactive, Aaron Poppie, Jeff Brice, Genevieve Tremblay and many more.
