THIRD PLACE TECHNOLOGIES invited artists, designers, and creative technologists to dive into the realms of renewable energy and art for a our weekend retreat (June 20-23) merging community, collaboration and learning.
Art Installations and workshops included a range of AR, XR, photogrammetry, electronics, sensors, interactivity, solar technologies, and self-illumination to craft installations and workshops that resonated with the theme of exploring renewable energies. ⚡️
Artists & art/tech teams included: Alexandra Krongel, Andrew Cole, Katrina Romero, hashtag#Typonexus, Church of the Black Hole, Ana Davidson (Cyanoprints), Bruce Cooper (Solar-powered Systems), Renewables for Artists, jeff brice (AR + Photogrammetry), Falona Joy & Genevieve Tremblay (Vision Cubing), Shelly D. Farnham, Ph.D. (Windpowered Turbines + Pinwheels), Susan Copenhaver (Pysanky Ukrainian egg-writing), Rebecca Cummins (Gnomon workshop + Pinhole Camera).
